We are constantly trying to become more efficient so that in turn we can become more sustainable. We try to get creative with our bi-products, and one of the most useful "waste" products that we produce that we can re-use is sawdust. Besides the ability to use it to heat our factory duringthe cold months, fuel our kilns to dry our raw wood, and sell to MDF producers, we also have a partnership with a local mushroom farm that uses the saw dust to grow organic mushrooms.
We have also been using solar power to help offset our carbon footprint when it comes to the amount of electricity we use
Lastly, we have established a variety of programs to educate and empower our employees at all of our locations to do their part in living a sustainable lifestyle by teaching them the benefits of recycling, cutting down on energy consumption, and becoming more socially responsible in their life choices.
